Pamela V. Williams,
CAE, President and Owner…
has over twenty years experience in the association
management field and has worked with both stand-alone and multi-management
firms. Williams has served in management and executive positions
with numerous local and national 501 (c) (3) and 501 (c) (6) organizations
since she joined the professional community in 1979. In addition,
Williams spent several years as an account executive and senior staff
member at the association management firm P.M. Haeger & Associates,
where she worked exclusively with one major client while also consulting
with other associations and Haeger management.
Williams also has direct personal experience as a volunteer
on not-for-profit boards. She is a Past Chair of the Association
Forum of Chicagoland, where she has served as board liaison
to the
CAE, Career Services, and Technology committees, chaired the Forum's
Finance Committee, and served as the association's 2002-2003 Secretary-Treasurer.
Williams earned the Certified Association Executive designation (CAE)
in 1998 from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE)
and is also a member of ASAE, the Association of Fund Raising Professionals
(AFP), and the International Association of Association Management
Companies (IAAMC).
In her capacity as Executive Director of Women in Cable & Telecommunications
(WICT) and the WICT Foundation (1991-2000), she served on the national
board of The National Cable Center and Museum in Denver, CO, and
The Walter Kaitz Foundation in Oakland, CA, as well as numerous national
and local committees and task forces.
